Precast, tiltup and concrete elements in building construction
This Code of Practice provides guidance to principal contractors and other persons conducting a business or undertaking on ways to eliminate hazards and/or minimise risks in the safe handling of concrete elements in building construction. A concrete element means a concrete panel or other precast concrete element, made in either an on-site or off-site casting yard that is cast and then lifted into position to form part of a building.
This Code of Practice is an approved code of practice under section 274 of the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011.
