Free gap training placements available for Overseas Qualified Electricians
20 free placements are available for the accredited course 10809NAT - Course in Electrician - Minimum Australian Context Gap.
The free placements are available to overseas qualified Electricians looking to obtain a Northern Territory electrical licence.
The placements are sponsored by the Industry Skills Advisory Council NT (ISACNT) in partnership with the Northern Territory Government and Charles Darwin University.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Northern Territory resident.
- Hold an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) for a UEE30830 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor).
- Hold an Electrical Work Licence Training Permit from NT WorkSafe.
- Be employed as an electrical worker or have access to a workplace environment that replicates workplace conditions.
