Guide for major hazard facilities – Notification and determination

This Guide provides information to assist operators of facilities that are, or are likely to become, major hazard facilities (MHFs) to meet their obligations under the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011 and Regulations with respect to the processes for notification and determination of a MHF. It also explains how the MHF hazardous chemicals threshold quantities are used and provides practical examples.
