Managing Heat Stress proactive workplace visits

Through out October, WorkSafe Inspectors will be conducting proactive workplace visits to talk about managing heat stress.
In the 2024-25 financial year, NT WorkSafe was contacted about 17 heat related incidents after a number of heatwave warnings, and the Bureau of Meteorology's latest long range forecast indicates day time temperatures are likely to be above average in the Northern Territory in the months of October to December.
These proactive visits will occur in all major regional centres in the Northern Territory.
