Safety alert issued after worker almost killed by 9-inch angle grinder

NT WorkSafe has issued a safety alert warning of the dangers associated with using 9-inch angle grinders after a worker was almost killed earlier this year.

In January this year, a Darwin worker working alone renovating an industrial shed received a severe laceration down his face, throat and into his sternum when the 9-inch grinder he was using kicked-back.
