Safety alert issued for electrical safety risks after flood damage

NT WorkSafe has issued a safety alert warning of potential electrical failure and fires following the submersion of electrical appliances and accessories during the recent floods.

Owners of battery energy storage systems (BESS) installed in conjunction with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in homes and businesses are urged to take action.
