NT WorkSafe engages future workforce at Central Careers Expo 2025
WorkSafe Inspectors engaged with over 550 students from Years 8 to 12 across the central Australian region at 2025 Central Careers Expo.
The event, which was held last week at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic College (OLSH), Sadadeen Campus, was a great opportunity for students to explore a range of career pathways, including apprenticeships, traineeships, and local employment opportunities.
Students showed strong interest in workplace health and safety and actively took part in the interactive learning opportunities at the NT WorkSafe stand. Those who participated were entered into a draw to win a family pass to the Alice Springs Show, including VIP parking.
Congratulations to Austin from OLSH Sadadeen Campus, who was drawn as the lucky winner!
NT WorkSafe would like to thank the Alice Springs Show Society for providing the prize for the event.
Supporting Young workers’ safety and rights
The NT WorkSafe stall was part of the Young Worker Program, which helps young people learn how to stay safe at work and understand their rights and responsibilities.
WorkSafe inspectors are available to deliver this program directly to your school. To find out more or to book a visit, contact ntworksafe@nt.gov.au.
