Work Health Authority Annual Report 2022-23
The role of the Work Health Authority is established under the Work Health Administration Act 2011. The Authority has the following functions:
- to be the regulator under the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011;
- the functions conferred on it under the Workers’ Rehabilitation and Compensation Act; and
- to be the Competent Authority under the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2010.
The Work Health Authority is required to provide an annual report to the responsible minister at the end of the financial year.
