Product Safety Recall: Davey Water Products Pty Ltd — Spa Quip 800 and 1200 Spa Controllers

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a product safety recall for Davey Water Products Pty Ltd — Spa Quip 800 and 1200 Spa Controllers.

The two spa controllers under recall were sold nationally and internationally.

The recall has been issued as a defect allows a power plug to be forced into the controller upside-down. This may cause the plugged-in device or parts touching the plugged-in device to become live.

This defect has caused a fatality.
