Prosecutions

The Work Health Authority gave the Council an overview on the current prosecutions.

Other business

Electrical Safety Bill

A council member raised a number of questions regarding the Electrical Safety Bill. The Chair requested that further information was provided out of session, so that it could be clarified if the questions and concerns raised fell within the functions of the Council.

NT Health

NT Health has raised a number of issues regarding the staff in their workplace and that they have identified a number of problems that contribute to the on-going issues that staff have been experiencing (e.g. aggression towards staff, high staff turnover).

The Chair requested that an email outlining the issues be provided out of session so that the Chair and Work Health Authority will be able to determine how the Council may assist.
