Best practice review of workplace health and safety in the NT

On 5 May 2018, the Northern Territory Government announced a best practice review into workplace health and safety in the NT.

The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Natasha Fyles has appointed Mr Tim Lyons as the independent reviewer to examine the policies, procedures and activities of NT WorkSafe in administering the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2011. A reference group comprising of industry, union and government nominees has been formed to assist Mr Lyons with the review.

A discussion paper has now been released seeking public feedback and input into the review.

Submissions for the review close on Friday 31 August 2018.
