National Return to Work Strategy 2020-2030
Safe Work Australia has launched the National Return to Work Strategy 2020-2030.
The strategy sets an agenda to minimise the impact of work-related injury and illness and optimise workers’ recovery and capacity to work.
This is the first time a national strategy has been implemented in Australia to provide a framework for evidence-based action to better support workers through the return to work process, and help stakeholders to do the same which will improve return to work outcomes for all workers.
The strategy is a 10-year plan to minimise the impact of work-related injury and illness, and enable a timely, safe and durable return to work for workers.
Work health and safety ministers across Australia endorse the Strategy along with union, employer and industry groups, signifying a shared commitment to make a difference.
Further information and a copy of the strategy can be download from the Safe Work Australia website.
